Trick or Treat.....

Booo Hooooo.....! It's time to show some Halloween candies I made with the Club Anya Spooktacular Stamp Set from the July release. All sentiments and images are from this stamp set.

Here you see the three lollies before I decorated them.

All images are coloured with Distress Ink. This image is cut out with a vintage tag die from BossKut. The swirl stamps are from Prima.

On this lolly I used a cool black paper that was dry embossed and it looks like raindrops.I used a Spellbinder die to cut the image and a Martha Stewart punch for the bat.

This image is also cut by using a Spellbinder die(Label 1). To cover this lolly I first wrapped am old book page around it. I then inked the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. To finish it, I wrapped some cellofane around it and used some red scrappers floss and linen thread.

The frame around the images is a clipping mask frame I made in Photoshop. I added a black layer behind it so it looked a litte bit more spooktacular;) You can download the frame HERE and use it on your own images. My free clipping mask frames can be viewed in this album. 2009 in Photos - Week 15

This is a photo of the old tractor resting at our barn. He's so tired after all the hard work, year after year. So now he's retired and is spending his old days at the barn. I really like the cute look of this tractor!

Hänglar & Stänglar Christmas card + one more grunge frame for download

Here is a Christmas card I made with this cute stamp from Hänglar & Stänglar. I coloured with Distress Ink Refillers. All papers and journal notes are from 3ndypapir. Some ribbon, twine and button for decoration.

Adobe Photoshop Tutorial 2 - How to make a grunge frame around your photo

I dag er jeg kommet til leksjon 2 i mine Photoshop-leksjoner. Jeg skal nå vise hvordan dere kan legge rammer på bildene deres, slik som vist på bildet over.

Alle bilder i denne leksjonen kan dobbelklikkes på for å sees i større versjon.

Snarveier og menyer jeg forklarer gjelder for Photoshop 7.0 og alle CS-utgavene. Jeg bruker ikke Photoshop Elements, så der vil det kanskje variere litt fra det jeg forklarer.

Today it's time for my 2nd Photoshop Tutorial. I will show you how to make grunge frames around your photos, like shown above. All pictures in this tutorial can be doubleclicked to be seen in larger versions. The shortcuts and menues I explain is for Photoshop 7.0 and all the CS-versions. I don't use Photoshop Elements, so if you use that there might be small variations in what I explain in my tutorials.

Det første du skal gjøre er å laste ned denne svarte rammen. Det gjør du ved å gå til denne linken . Trykk slik at du får den i Full Size før du høyreklikker på den og lagrer den.(NB! Sjekk at den blir lagret som en .png fil og ikke .jpeg fil.) Rammen er designet av meg og du er hjertelig velkommen til å bruke den så mye du vil!

Så åpner du Photoshop og åpner det ønskede bildet du vil bruke og også rammen du har lastet ned. The first thing to do, is to download this black frame. Go to this link to download it. Make sure you view it full size before you save it to your computer. (NB! Be shoure to save it as a .png-file and not a .jpeg-file.) This frame is designed by me, and feel free to use it as much as you want!
Open both the frame and the photo you want to use the frame on, in Photoshop.

Da ser det slik ut / It should look like this:

Så skal vi jobbe med flere lag og da må Layers-paletten ligge fremme i Photoshop. Du åpner det ved å gå til menyen oppe på linjen. Du går til Windows og haker av for Layers. We will be working with Layers so be shoure your Layers window is viewable in Photoshop. You open it by going to the menu on top, got to Windows and mark Layers.

Layers-paletten ser slik ut / The Layers window looks like this:

Sørg også for at du har paletten Tools oppe. Det finner du på samme måte som du fant Layers. Gå til meny, Windows og hak av for Tools. Trykk så på Move Tool. Also make shoure your Tools palette is open. You open it the same way as with the Layers window. Menu, Windows, Tools. Press the Move Tool and you'll be ready.

Det ser slik ut(pilen oppe til høyre på Tools-paletten) / The Move Tool looks like this:

Trykk så på bildet ditt, fordi det er det bildet vi skal jobbe med først. Trykk Ctrl+J. Da ser du på Layers-paletten at det er laget en kopi av bildet(som heter Layer 1). At first we will be working with the photo. Make sure it is marked and then press Ctrl+J. You have now made a copy of the photo(Layer 1), see the Layers window:

Så ser du på Layers-paletten at det er et "øye" ved siden av hvert Layer. På det nederste laget som heter Background skal du trykke av dette øyet. Det gjør du ved å trykke på det. On the Layers window you will see an "eye" next to each Layer. On the lowest layer(called Background) you will turn off this eye. You do this by clicking it once.

Da ser det slik ut / It looks like this:

Så skal du dra grunge rammen over bildet. Det gjør du ved å holde pilen over rammen. Så trykker du ned venstre museknapp(og holder den nede) og drar rammen over til bildet. Now it's time to move the grunge frame to the photo. Drag the frame over to the photo by holding the left mouse button down while dragging.

Slik / Like this:

Hvis du så trykker Ctrl+T, kan du endre størrelsen på rammen slik at den passer bildet. Dra den ut til der du vil ha den og trykk så på Enter. By pressing Ctrl+T(Transform) you can edit the size of the frame to match the photo. Transform it to wanted size and press Enter.

På mitt eksempelbilde har jeg dratt den ut slik at den fyller nesten hele bildet / On my photo it looks like this when I have transformed the frame on top of the photo:

Hvis du da ser på Layers-paletten, ser du at du har fått tre lag og øverst ligger den svarte rammen, som heter Layer 2. Du skal nå dra den ned mellom Layer 1 og Background. Det gjør du ved å holde pilen over Layer 2, holde inne venstre museknapp og dra den ned mellom de to andre lagene. Slipp den så, og den faller på plass der den skal. On the Layers window you will now see three Layers. On top you will have the frame, called Layer 2. You will now have to drag Layer 2 between the Background Layer and Layer 1. Drag Layer 2 by holding down left mouse button and drag to wanted spot.

Det skal da se slik ut / When you're done, it should look like this:

Trykk så på Layer 1 slik at det er merket blått / Press Layer 1 so it's marked with blue:

Så skal du trykke Ctrl+G og da er jobben gjort.(For dere som har CS2 og nyere, skal dere høyre klikke på Layer1 og så velge Create Clipping Mask) Press Ctrl+G and the work is done(for those of you who have CS2 or newer versions, rightclick on Layer 1 and choose Create Clipping Mask)!

Bildet vil da se ut som dette her. / The picture should look like this:

Lagre det som .jpeg-fil og det er klart til å lastes opp der du vil bruke det. Save it as a .jpeg file on your computer and it's ready to be uploaded wherever you want to use it!

Senere vil jeg dele flere rammer som dere kan nedlaste og bruke. De vil da bli lagt ut i dette albumet hos Photobucket. Later I will share some more frames with you to use with this tutorial. You will then find them in this Photobucket Album.
