This is one of the gift ideas I made for Ett Trykk August 2011 issue.
The template for the cigar box is downloaded from justsomethingimade.com/2011/04/mini-cigar-box-template-free-digital-downloads/

I made a small card for the box and is was just as a gift to a confirmand. We put money inside the box.
Jeg laget et lite kort til å ha inni esken sammen med pengegave.

Blekk: Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Papirer: Akvarellpapir, My Mind's Eye - Stella & Rose Mønsterpapir
Annet: Tim Holtz - nøkkelhull, ukjent - knapper, vintagebilde, Inkido - bling,

I have made the June challenge at the Ett Trykk blog, and this month you have to use newspaper as an element on your card.
I used newspaper on the background, and stamped with crackle paint and bubble wrap on top.
Jeg klippet også ut bursdagsteksten fra en avis. Gratulasjonssidene er flotte til dett, for der fins det diverse tekster å klippe fra.
The text was cut from a newspaper too.

Supplies for this card:
Cardstock: Bazzill - Kraft
Design Papers: Graphic 45
Inks: Distress Ink - Wild Honey, Walnut Stain
Others: Ranger - Vintage Photo Crackle Paint, Stickles Vintage Photo, Tattered Angels - Chipboard swirl, Inkido - vintage photo, half pearls.

Inkido ~ Steampunk Tag Card

I've seen some really cool steampunk cards lately and I had to try one myself. I used two tags as a base for the card. I sew them together at the ends with my sewing machine. All supplies for this project are from Inkido.
I added a black lace to the edge of the tags and fastened the ends with a buton and some black thread. The green paper is Mathea Woodbine. I inked the edges of the papers and the tags with Distress Ink Brushed Corduror. I also sprayed them with Glimmer Mist Tattered Leather.
The metal closk is from Tim Holtz. The leaf is painted with Vintage Photo crackle paint, sprayed with Glimmer Mist Tattered Leather and distressed with some black ink. Behind the clock is some homemade wrinkled ribbons and an old book sheet(stamped with the stars stamp).
Inside the tag car dI used the star stamp on the edges of the light panels.
The vintage image is also from Inkido and was covered in Crackle Accents.

At the back of the card I used the compass stamp on an old book sheet. I inked with black ink and added some Crackle Accents on top. The Crackle Accents was also used on the grunge paper strip(Tim Holtz).

Thanks for visiting and come back soon for preview of my new paper and stamp designs for Inkido :)

All stamps on this tag are from Inkido.

You Rock!

A birthday card for a cool boy who turned 9 years yesterday. I used Kazan's sketch #62 at 2S4Y. The red and black paper is from Papirdesign and the white and black is from SU. The ribbon is also from SU, green button from Kort og Godt, fabric brad and vintage wing from Panduro.
The image is from The Greeting Farm and I used Copics to colour it.
The star is white cotton fabric cut with a star die from Spellbinders. I sprayed it with black Glimmer Mist and stamped the number on. The stitches are faux and the red star brad from my stash. I distressed the edges of the star to give it a more worn look.
Inside the card I used a sentiment from Inkadinkado. The metal plate was bought in Denmark this summer.
The tag is a die from SU and the skull border stamp is also Inkadinkado.
At the back of the card I used one of my personal stamps and some chipboard wings from Maya Road. I inked the wings with red ink and then added some crackle accent to them.

Thabks for visiting:)

Sukkersøtt #84 - Papirdesign & 3D

At Sukkersött this week, the challenge is to make the card 3-dimensional. You ca do that by adding different layers, put your image on 3D dots, use different textures like ribbons, flowers, things from nature etc. This week the DT has been sponsored by Papirdesign with some of their new papers.
I made a birthday card for a football-boy. The cute image is from Lili of the Valley. The tag is from Inkido and I painted it with some crackle paint.
The image is coloured with Copic Sketch Markers and Pro Markers. Here you can see which colours I used.
