It's been a VERY  long time since I last made a card. 

This card I made for my friend who has birthday today.

Papers are from Prima, stamps are Norsk Stempelblad, Papirloftet and Papirgleder. I used crackle paint, distress inks, sewn all edges if the papers. Punches are from Martha Stewart and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Happy Birthday ~ Sketchy colors #101

Good morning dear blog readers :)

Today I have made a card for the Sketchy colors challenge blog. The challenge is #101 - Green, beige & creme.

 For the pocket at the back of the card I made a smaller tag with a butterfly and a stamp from Inkido.

It's been SO long since I last blogged, but now I'm back again.

Due to renovation of our house my office has been stacked away for over 1 month so it's been hard to create things. But now the office is officially opened again and I'm creating lots of new things. Mainly for the Feb12 issue of Ett Trykk( so I can't show that to you yet).

Teknikker: Alle kanter er svertet med brunt blekk.

Andre ting: Esken er laget etter egne mål. Kutt et papir i 6"x12". Lag brettekant på 3", 3 3/8", 8 3/8" og 8 6/8 ". På langsiden lages det en brettekant på 1". Lokket er 20,1 x 12,7 cm og brettes på 5 6/8" og 6 1/8". Sommerfuglene er klippet ut av mønsterpapiret. Motivet er stemplet på Kraft-kartong og klippet ut. Kakeservietten er stemplet med tekst-stempel og klippet til for å passe i hjørnet av esken.

Velkommen Til Verden...

På en regnfull søndag har jeg kost meg innendørs med litt kortlaging, og i dag ble det et babykort.
Dette er mitt bidrag til disse utfordringene:
* Sukkersøtt - prikker og striper
* Sketchy Colors - rosa, hvitt og gull

 Det ble et staffelikort denne gangen med et søtt vintagemotiv fra Ladybug & Friends.

Swirl'en bak motivet er laget med en Sizzix die og en gammel bokside. Jeg brukte litt Stickles Tiara rundt kantene.

Den søte teksten er fra Stempelglede og er trykket ut med en die fra Spellbinders. Båndet er seam binding som jeg har farget og krøllet selv.

Her ser du et nærbilde av blomstene. Hele kortet er sprayet med litt Glimmer Mist Creme de Cocoa som har et lite gullskimmer i seg.

Summer Wedding Card

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted a card on the blog. But with summer vacation, a new job, loads of photos to edit, garden work and a new job, I haven't found much time lately. The other day I found time to make this summer wedding card.

It is my entry for these challenges:

The base for the card is a brown paper bag. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the opening, to make it prettier.
The size of the card is 13 x 18 cm.

 The tag inside was decorated with one of the beautiful papers from the Forever collection from Inkido.

 On the tag there is an "extra" card stamped with wedding sentiments from Kort & Godt.

Dette er det tredje og siste bryllupskortet jeg laget for Ett Trykk Juni 2011 utgaven.

This is the 3rd wedding card I made for Ett Trykk Cardmaking Magazine June 2011 edition.

Jeg brukte masse gamle noteark som jeg sydde sammen på kortet. Etterpå rev jeg av kanter i ulike bredder slik at de forskjellige lagene vises godt. Jeg krøllet også kantene for å få litt dybde i kortet.

Den fine teksten er fra Kort & Godt.

Sommerfuglen er en die fra Stampin' Up. Jeg har trykket ut hvitt bomullsstoff, flere lag med notepapir og akvarellpapir. Jeg sydde de sammen for hånd på midten av sommerfuglen.

Trykkpressa - Juni 2011

Junioppgaven hos Trykkpressa er det jeg som har laget, og denne gangen skal du bruke avispapir som et element på kortet. For å delta i utfordringen, gå til Ett Trykk bloggen og les mer der.

I have made the June challenge at the Ett Trykk blog, and this month you have to use newspaper as an element on your card.

Jeg brukte avispapir på bakgrunnen. Dagens Næringsliv var fin å bruke, for fargene matchet papiret fra Graphic 45 og vintagebildet! Jeg har stemplet med bobleplast og crackle paint i hjørnene, og svertet over med Distress Ink.
I used newspaper on the background, and stamped with crackle paint and bubble wrap on top.

Jeg klippet også ut bursdagsteksten fra en avis. Gratulasjonssidene er flotte til dett, for der fins det diverse tekster å klippe fra.
