Her er et av kortene mine som var publisert i Ett Trykk April 2011. Snart er det tid for Juni-nummeret, og du kan glede deg. Et flott blad til å kose seg med i sommerferien :)

Kortet er laget av en brun papirpose som er sydd sammen for å lage en lomme.

Vingene og hjertet er malt med hvit crackle paint.

Her er tag'en som er inni lommen.

Sketchy Colors Top #4

Wow! My baby card made it to the Top #4 at Sketchy Colors this week. I am so happy.

For this card I used some of the new double sided papers I've designed for Inkido.

Some news....

No card from me today, but I can share some news with you.

I just found out that the card I made for the Top 20 at the 2S4Y 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown, is shown on the Cosmo Cricket blog ;) You can see it HERE. I used some of the papers from the Everafter series on the card.

I also wanted to tell you that I have decided to leave the Papirgleder Design Team. It was a hard decision to make because all the lovely DT members have become such good friends of mine. I love you all :) Thanks for all the great moments we've shared together in real life and on the chat room!

Jeg har to gode nyheter å dele med dere i dag!
I have two good news to share with you today.

Først så må jeg fortelle at Tattered Angels har valgt meg som Featured Artist of May på hjemmesiden sin. De kontaktet meg og sa de hadde lagt merke til hvordan jeg brukte Glimmer Mist og andre produkter fra dem på kortene mine! Så derfor ville de gjerne vise frem det jeg lager på siden sin! Johooo, så utrolig kjekt! Hvis du går inn på hjemmesiden deres og så ruller litt ned, så ser du Featured Artist. Og så hvis du trykker på bildet der, så kommer du til artikkelen om meg.
The first good news is that Tattered Angels contacted me and asked if I wanted to be their Featured Artist of May on their website! Featured.........

.........at Minneriket's STRIPA! This is the 6th time my cards has been featuered here!

Jippi! Maren-i-Myra har valgt mitt konfirmasjonskortet til STRIPA uke 12 på Minneriket. Det er dette rosa og brune konfirmasjonskortet hun har valgt. Og om kortet skriver hun:

"Dette kortet fra KMB er bare helt utrolig, og fargeleggingen er noe helt for seg selv. Kort etter kort med nydelige detaljer og fargelegging kommer fra deg, og jeg blir like betatt hver eneste gang!"

Og jeg har visst også glemt at for noen uker siden ble dette grønne og brune kortet også valgt til å være med på STRIPA uke9:Da var det Tessa som valgte ut dette kortet og hun skrev:
"Kristine's nydlige kort fortjener virkelig en plass på stripa! Detaljrikt og nydlige farger! Takk for fin inspirasjon!! Published card in Ett Trykk February 2009 issue

Here is one of my cards that were published in February 2009 issue of Ett Trykk. It was made for the sketch challenge. The beautiful image is a sticker from Panduro Hobby. I distressed it on the edges and painted with Crackle Paint Scattered Straw on the edges. Papers are from Sassafras Lass - Life is Beautiful. All edges on them are also distressed and painted with the same Crackle Paint. The lace is from Stoff & Stil and I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist Sage. I also used some feathers under the flowers!

The beautiful sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I stamped it on paper from Sassafrass and cut out with Nestabilities.

Inside the card I used the same papers as on the outside. The flowers are from Prima and was sprayed with Glimmer Mist Old Lace and Cinnamon. The brad is from Basic Grey. Feathers from Panduro.

The sentiment inside is also from The Cornish Heritage Farms. I stamped it on a tag from MME Laundry Line. The ornament is from Melissa Frances and I used some Creamy Brown Ink on it to make it look old. Heart bling from Prima.

Forever Friends are rub ons from Melissa Frances. The metal frames from Stampin Up.

The Case of The Curious Card

Wow! Marie at The Greeting Farm has started a new challenge. It is called The Case of the Curious Card. The challenge is to case a chosen card made with stamps from The Greeting Farm. And for the first CCC challenge , Marie has chosen my Ian card made for A Spoon Full of Sugar #39. Thank you Marie;)

2009 in Photos - Week 5

It's winter and this weekend has been wonderful weather. Me and my mother in law have been hiking both yesterday and today in the woods. This is a snowy picture from our hike yesterday. I love the way you can see the frosty snowflakes - lovely texture! Wish I could copy that texture to a Christmas card;)

Wow! This is the 3rd time in two months one of my cards has been featured at STRIPA at the online magazine Minneriket. This time Eli chose the card I made for 2 Sketches 4 You last week.

And some other good news! I won the blog candy Camilla had at her blog! ;)

To ganger på en måned har et av kortene mine blitt valgt ut til STRIPA hos Minneriket. Denne gangen var det dette kortet som ble valgt ut.Det var Katta som hadde valgt ut mitt kort. Her er hva hun sier om kortet mitt: "Dette kortet av KMB fanget min oppmerksomhet. Det er en fin ramme rundt motivet, og selv om det er mye spennende detaljer og spreke farger, tar det ikke oppmerksomheten fra motivet. Stilig med båndet som er tredd bak stempelmotivet og charmsene!"

OMG! Yesterday Minneriket (a Norwegian online magazine for scrapping/cardmaking) released their weekly list of the DT members' favourites in the gallery. It's called STRIPA. And this week Hilde(aka Stempelgal) had chosen my card as her favourite this week! I feel so honoured! And Hilde wrote some nice words about me as well. If you click the link you can see what Hilde wrote about me and also the other LO's and cards that were chosen this week. The text is only in Norwegian(sorry). But Hilde said something like this about my card:"This is the card I fell in love with this week. Kristine is incredibly talented and creates fabulous cards.
