Seriously Stylish Camera Bag

As I promised you earlier, I would tell you about some of the cool stuff I got for my 30th birthday in December. One of the things is a cool new camera bag. My old one is from Crumpler and it has been an amazing camera bag. It has been with my through snow, rain, sand etc and my camera equipment have been well protected all the time. The Crumpler bag will still be my companion on photo shoots etc., but as the years have gone by, I've been missing a nicer camera bag to bring along on holidays, shopping, city life etc. I wanted it to be more like my bags/purses, but with the padding for the camera equipment too.
After doing a whole lot of online research, the answer to all my wishes was found at Epiphanie Bags
Epiphanie Bags has some seriously stylish camera bags, which makes it easy to bring your camera with you everywhere. The bags also has some room for the normal stuff you have in your purse(wallet, makeup etc), so this way you can bring it all in one bag!

I got the Epiphanie Ginger bag in black with pink padding. Sorry for the bad photos. I used another camera since my SLR is in the bag :)

This is how it looks with all my equipment inside:

And another cool thing is that the camera comes in this über cool custom-fitted storage/dust bag :)
And inside the bags they have hidden some Epiphanie cards with some sweet sayings. Here is a photo of the 2 I got in my bag's pockets:

If you want to know more about the camera bags, have a look at the Epiphanie Bags site. Or feel free to ask me anything about my bag, through comments or email :)

Simplici•tea ...

... "the appreciation of life's little moments while drinking tea".
This is what the text inside this tea mug is saying. And it's true - I really appreciate those little moments when I drink my tea. I am addicted to tea and have a huge kitchen cabinet filled with different teas.
The best tea moments are the ones I share with my friends! I have some good friends who loves tea just as much as I do, and sweet Linda is one of them! She surprised me with this cute tea mug in the mail the other day! Thank You :) The mug is from the Mud Pie Tea Talk Collection.

If you wonder what kind of tea filters I use, it is the small paper tea filters from Tea Palace. I first found these filters at Tea Shop while living in Madrid in 2005, but unfortunately they don't have a web shop. Some sweet friends of mine in Spain have bought me filters regularly, but when I was in London last year I found some at Tea Palace in Covent Garden. And when I found out they had a web shop too, my tea filter search is over! Now I can order new ones whenever I need them!
And my favourite tea?! That is, without any doubt, the Sabana Viva Rooibos tea from Tea Shop in Spain. At Tea Palace it is called Flower Dance. Over the years I have bought several kilos of this tea! I love it!
The cute tea box is an old I got from my grandmother. She always had this in her kitchen cabinet, and it brings back so many good memories from my childhood :)
Along with adorable tea mugs the Mud Pie Tea Talk Collection also includes cute tea bag holders. I bought some of these in New Orleans at Fransesca's Collections last year on our honeymoon. I gave them to my friend Therese and have wanted to have some myself too. So sweet Linda helped me out and went back to Fransesca's and bought me some!

I wish you all a good week. May it be filled with many sweet tea moments :)
I would love to know what is your favourite tea, so please leave me a comment and tell me!

December 5th: Photo Canvas as Christmas Gift

Still haven't finished the Christmas presents yet?
Today I want to give you another great Christmas present tip. Recently I decided to make some canvases out of some of our holiday photos from our trip to New Orleans.  Earlier I have worked in a photo store and I've made canvases like these. I'm quite picky about the quality and I'm not satisfied until the quality is perfect. Since I wanted the best quality, I didn't want some of the canvases some of the Norwegian websites offers. I have seen some of them IRL and I'm not satisfied with the poor quality they offer. So after some hard research I decided to try out the canvases from Photo-Canvas in UK.

The ordering is done so easily. The uploader immediately tells you if the quality of your photos are good enough for the canvas you want. You also have some different options to how you want your canvas to look. From the day of the ordering it only took one week until the canvases arrived at my house in Norway!!!
I will definitely order from Photo-Canvas again.

The photos I made to canvases are two night shots from our holiday to New Orleans. The motifs are the green and red street cars. I love blurry night shots like these and they look so good hanging on our wall!
It's hard to take good photos of the canvases, so if you want to see them any better, just double click them! Or come visit my house ;)

The canvas itself is wrapped so tight around the frame, so it looks really good. The quality of the craftsmenship is perfect. As you see on the photos, the corners are also done very nicely.

What I love most about these canvases, is the quality of the fabric and the print. The canvas is of high quality and the printing is done very nicely.
On canvases from other producers, I've seen the print peel off the canvas quite easily. And they scratch easily too, so after a while they don't look good.
But on the canvases from Photo-Canvas this doesn't happen! They are superior to anything I've ever seen!

So hurry up and order your photo canvases for Christmas presents! You wan't regret it!!!
Have a nice Saturday everyone and remember to stop by tomorrow for some more advent calendar postings!
