December 20th: The Christmas Tree

Earlier years we've found a christmas tree in a rush a few days before Christmas. So this year we wanted to prepare and go lookin fo rht eperfect tree a little bit earlier. A few weeks ago all family went out in our forest to pick the trees we wanted. We also brought some hot chocolate, waffles and had a "picnic" in the forest.

And yesterday it was time to bring the trees home. Me, my husband, my sister, my niece Tuva and my father in law went out with the tractor to the forest to find the chosen trees again! It was a perfect day to get the trees. It had been snowing all night and it was so beautiful outside. I didn't bring my SLR camera yesteday because it was snowing, so the quality of these photos aren't the best :)

And here is my and my niece together with all the trees on the tractor trailor. On the way back home, we sat on the trailer and sang christmas carols and it was snowing! So much fun!
